The pioneers of angular rock orientated power pop are here. Expect vocals possessing pop melodic sensibility, sharp guitar mixed with distorted effects complimented by trashy telecaster undertones backed by fast fingered modern passive bass held together expertly by drums relentless in perfect execution of timing. And expect a wall of sound that creates atmosphere and confusion.
Well constructed confusion is what the whole concept is about. It's child-like wisdom, it's about standing quietly in the corner watching the world lose its head, it's about knowing but not letting on. 'The Trouble with Me'.... is an open sentence which can be finished with almost anything. The ill-informed might say that 'The Trouble with Me' is something to do with Barry white...but he could be dead for all they care.
The seeds have slowly been sewn over the last two years, the band is established on the Reading (the town not the literary) scene and beginning to step further a field. The local media is right behind the band, and the MySpace generation is taking them to their hearts.
The song writing comes from all areas of the band, drawing on many different influences, which is why the songs are so diverse yet proficiently fused into something very unique. You have never heard them before yet you somehow you get it.
This is a band with not one and not two great songs but a hatful. The live set has multiple climaxes, all in a slightly different vein. TTWM will make you dance, TTWM will make you want to hold hands, TTWM will make you want to start a fight, TTWM will make you do anything they bloody well like!
